Molly Distinct Consult is looking for a creative, flexible Visual Arts Teacher to join this successful school in Lugbe, Abuja

Responsibilities

  • -Establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, students, parents, school administration, and community members.
  • -Develop and maintain teaching materials, lesson plans, and schedules.
  • -Implement educational policies and procedures related to the use of technology, school discipline, and students’ health and welfare
  • -Design and implement educational enrichment activities to promote student skill development
  • -Continue professional development by securing appropriate in-service training, workshops, and meetings
  • -Coordinate student activities and social events for and with students
  • -Effectively utilize technology to improve students’ educational experience
  • -Provide written and oral feedback on students’ progress
  • - Develop and implement teaching pedagogies that align to curriculum, school standards, and state/national standards
  • -Collaborate with school administration and staff to share best practices, address curriculum needs, and solve issues
  • -Model use of new and emerging instructional technologies

Qualification

  • -B.Ed/B.Sc Plus PGDE in art or related field
  • 5+ years working in an arts-related field
  • -Knowledge of art history, graphic design, and visual art principles
  • -Knowledge of classroom management and instruction techniques
  • -Strong written and verbal skills
  • -Knowledge of industry standard software
